Short version: We collect your email address when you join the waitlist. We do not sell it, share it with third parties for marketing, or use it for anything other than Muzzl communications. When we launch biometric features, we will ask for fresh, explicit consent before collecting any nose-print data.
Muzzl is a dog biometric identity platform developed and operated by Scanvue Medical Imaging LLP (hereinafter "Muzzl", "we", "our", or "us"), a limited liability partnership registered in India, with its registered office in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you visit muzzl.in or interact with any of our services.
Questions or concerns? Reach us at support@muzzl.in.
Waitlist sign-ups: When you submit your email address through our waitlist form, we collect that email address and the timestamp of submission. Nothing else.
Usage data: Our web server may log standard access information — IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited — for security and diagnostics. This data is not linked to your identity and is purged within 30 days.
Biometric data (future): When the Muzzl app launches, it will process nose-print video of your dog to generate a biometric identifier. This data is sensitive. Before collecting any such data, we will present a clear, standalone consent form explaining exactly what is captured, how it is stored, and how it can be deleted. Biometric data will never be collected through this website.
We do not collect: Payment information, government IDs, precise location, or any data from minors.
We will not use your email address for advertising, affiliate marketing, or any purpose unrelated to Muzzl.
We process your personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.
The legal basis for processing your email address is your voluntary, informed consent given at the time of waitlist submission. You may withdraw this consent at any time by writing to support@muzzl.in, and we will remove your data within 7 business days.
We do not sell your personal data. Ever.
We use the following third-party services, each bound by their own privacy obligations:
We may disclose data if required by Indian law, court order, or a lawful request by a competent authority. We will notify you where legally permitted to do so.
Waitlist email addresses are retained until you request deletion or until 12 months after Muzzl launches in your city — whichever comes first. After that, data is permanently deleted from all systems.
Server access logs are purged within 30 days.
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure, including:
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your rights, we will notify you as required under applicable Indian law.
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, email support@muzzl.in from the address you used to sign up. We will respond within 7 business days.
